TX School Funding by Mr. R. Kafka

Abstract:
Funding of Texas Public Schools is under the purview of the Texas State Legislature.  The Foundation School Program (FSP) establishes how much funding School Districts and Charter schools are entitled to receive.  We will be revisiting a presentation prepared by TEA (Texas Education Agency) recapping the legislative impact of FSP in the past (2022-2023) biennium.  During the current legislative session commenced this January, the review process will likely change this historical overview.
