IMA National

Thank you for your interest in the IMA and especially in our chapter.  

Our chapter was founded in 1966.  Situated in a city on the border of two nations and three states, the City of El Paso, Texas, presents a unique array of opportunities.  With this, our professionals live and experience business international issues on a daily basis.

El Paso and its sister city, Ciudad Juárez, (located in the Mexican state of Chihuahua) comprise the largest metropolitan area on the border between the United States and Mexico.  El Paso’s proximity to Mexico furnishes an excellent opportunity for businesses to capitalize on NAFTA, the maquiladora industry, and other prospects in Latin America. Moreover, El Paso’s central location yields a strategic proximity to markets across North America.
