Certification
Programs
The Certified
Management Accountant (CMA) and the Certified Financial Manager (CFM)
Programs have been designed to recognize the unique qualifications and
expertise of those professionals engaged in management accounting and
financial management.
The
Certification Programs have four objectives:
- To
establish management accounting and financial management as
recognized professions by identifying the role of the professional,
the underlying body of knowledge, and a course of study by which
such knowledge is acquired;
- To
encourage higher educational standards in the management accounting
and financial management fields;
- To
establish an objective measure of an individual's knowledge and
competence in the fields of management accounting and financial
management; and
- To
encourage continued professional development.
CMA and CFM
| Certified
Management Accountant (CMA) Program
The CMA program requires the candidates to pass a rigorous
four-part examination and meet specific educational and
professional standards. The program was established to recognize
professional competence in the field of management accounting.

| Certified
Financial Manager (CFM) Program
The CFM will confirm your proficiency in financial management
and your dedication to personal and professional growth.
As the body of knowledge of the CFM examination is complementary
with that of the CMA examination, three of the examination parts
(Parts 1, 3 and 4) will be the same for both programs. Part 2 of
the CFM examination will be devoted to in-depth testing of
corporate financial management topics.
